Every service below is provided to survivors at no cost, and everyone is welcome regardless of documentation or insurance status.

A sliding scale, based on income
Our trauma-informed therapists offer 10 free sessions for survivors. Qualifying survivors may receive further counseling sessions that carry a fee set on a sliding scale, determined by household income and family size during a short intake conversation.
Nobody is turned away for inability to pay. If the fee is a hardship, say so and we will adjust it with you.
Questions people ask us
Do survivors ever pay for services?
Emergency services are always free for survivors. This includes shelter and domestic violence housing, rape crisis support, and victim advocacy. Survivors also receive 10 free therapy sessions. After those sessions, continued therapy is available on a sliding scale for qualifying survivors based on income and family size.
What is the sliding scale for?
The sliding scale helps qualifying survivors continue therapy after their 10 free sessions. Eligibility and fees are based on income and family size.
What if I cannot afford the sliding-scale fee?
Tell us. Ability to pay never determines whether you receive care. Talk with our office and we will work it out with you.
Do I need insurance to get help?
Survivors are welcome regardless of documentation or insurance status. Call our office and we will walk you through what, if anything, a specific program needs.
Is there any cost to call the hotline?
No. The hotline is free, confidential, bilingual, and available 24 hours a day.
