Are you experiencing domestic violence or intimate partner violence and need a protection order? We can help you prepare the application for a Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Order (“TRO”).

Please note:
- You remain self-represented (In Pro Per) and attend all court hearings yourself.
- There is no court filing fee to file a request for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order.
- Domestic Violence Restraining Orders must be personally served on the restrained party. The Sheriff’s Office will do this for you once you obtain the TRO.
- Documents pertaining to Domestic Violence Restraining Orders may not be submitted for filing by e-Delivery. They need to be filed in person at the family law filing window at the courthouse. No appointment is required to file a request for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order at the family law filing window. We will provide you with instructions on how to file your paperwork.
